Keeping My Day Job

I cut Grant's hair yesterday. I started with this -

And ended with this -

I know, he doesn't look very happy in that shot. Perhaps it's related to this -

Clippers, they just aren't as easy to use as you would think.

I have to admit, you are REALLY bad with clippers! But, I cut both my boys' hair last week and although Kai's turned out pretty cute, Ash looks kind of pathetic. I ended up buzzing the back of his hair but I tried to keep the front longer - just tellin' ya, not a good look. Can you say "reverse mullet?" The good news is that we don't have anywhere to go but up, right?

It costed me 15rmb to have haircut in China. So you weren't trying to save money.

Ah, the pleasure of torturing kids. I got it. Do it alllll the time.

Thanks for the warning Heather. I was going to try for the 'longer in front' look next time...

Thanks for stopping by 打扮!

Sin-Yaw, torture is when I put lotion on them. On their faces! They hate that. And we live in Beijing, one of the most dry places on the planet.

Mel, why? Don't you know that it is exactly this type of thing that'll be used against you as your kids mature?

Like, he'll get a haircut something like this:

and, use what you did to him against you?

At least my father had the decency to put a bowl over my head when he did the same to me when I was a child.
